Red wine IGT Costa Toscana Cabernet Franc Apistós

NAME – Apistós from the greek word ἄπιστος, means incredible. It is our imaginary flower, that does not exist in nature and is therefore for us incredible.

GRAPE VARIETIES – Cabernet Franc 100%.

WINE-MAKING – The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, crushed, and fermented with the skin in concrete tanks for 30 days.

AGEING – About 16 months in wood (French oak barrels of first and second passage).

COLOUR – Intence and bright red.

SCENT – To the nose it is characterized by elegant herbaceous varietal notes.

TASTE – On the palate is complex, harmonious and smooth.

PAIRINGS – Great with pasta dressed with meat sauces. Excellent with beef, game and grilled meat.

ALCOHOL – 14% alcohol by volume
