Agapanthus
Genus of herbaceous perennials of the Liliaceae family, native plants of South Africa. The name comes from the Greek agàpe (love) and ànthos (flower).
Organoleptic notes
Young but elegant Bolgheri DOC red wine with intense and bright colour. It releases prevailing notes of red fruits to the nose. Persistent and harmonious in the mouth, even if young and exuberant.
Pairings
The highest pleasure is its accompaniment with cold cuts, cheeses, and not-too-tasty red meat, but its softness and balance make it palatable for the whole meal.
Technical notes
Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Ciliegiolo.
Ageing: about 12 months in wood (tonneaux and barrels of second passage) and at least 6 months in bottle.
Alcohol: 14% alcohol by volume.
