White wine DOC Bolgheri Elleboro
NAME – Elleboro from Helleborus, flower of the Ranunculaceae family, also called Christmas Rose because it blooms in December.
GRAPE VARIETIES – Main grape Viognier
WINE-MAKING – The grapes are handharvested, destemmed, crushed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
AGEING – In stainless steel for 4 months, followed by two months in the bottle.
COLOUR – Pale yellow
SCENT – The bouquet includes notes of summer yellow fruits, above all peach and apricot.
TASTE – Strong in the mouth at the beginning; Elleboro features a beautiful structure enhanced by fresh acidity and compelling flavour.
ACCOMPANIMENTS – Perfect as aperitif or with fish dishes or light entrées.
ALCOHOL – 13% alcohol by volume
