AGAPANTO BOLGHERI ROSSO DOC
Agapanthus: a type of herbaceous perennial plant belonging to the Lilliaceae family and originally from South Africa. Its name derives from the Greek words agàpe (love) and ànthos (flower).
A young but elegant Bolgheri Rosso red wine with an intense and lively color. The nose shows notes of red fruit, and the palate has a lovely balance and length despite its young and vigorous age.
It gives the maximum pleasure with characuterie, cheese, and red meat which is not heavily seasoned, but its softness and balance make it excellent drinking throughout the meal.
Within two or three years from the vintage date.
Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Ciliegiolo.
Aging: approximately twelve months in oak (in 60 gallon barrels and 130 gallon puncheons previously used once, plus a minimum of six months in bottle before release).
Alcohol Content: 14% vol.
